US 250 Celebration: BelemaOil Boss Tein Jack-Rich Receives International Recognition in Washington

Nigerian oil and gas entrepreneur and President/Chief Executive Officer of BelemaOil Producing Nigeria Limited, Engr. Tein Jack-Rich, has been recognised at an event commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States’ independence in Washington, D.C.

Jack-Rich was honoured during an awards ceremony held as part of the US 250 celebrations, which, according to the organisers, recognises international business leaders whose partnerships have contributed to the growth of American businesses and the U.S. economy. The event was reportedly hosted by Eric Trump.

The recognition highlights Jack-Rich’s role in fostering business relationships between Nigerian and American companies, particularly in the energy sector.

A statement accompanying the award also spotlighted the Belema Sweet Terminal, a flagship crude oil export project being developed by BelemaOil in Kula Community, Akuku-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The company said the terminal, when completed, is expected to have the capacity to store and load up to four million barrels of crude oil per shipment, positioning it as one of the largest crude export facilities on the continent.

According to the statement, the project, being executed in collaboration with American partners, is expected to boost investment, expand commercial activities and create employment opportunities across the Niger Delta.

Commending the award recipient, the statement described the honour as recognition of Jack-Rich’s contributions to the oil and gas industry and his efforts to strengthen international business partnerships.
