Tompolo Drafts Dangote, BUA Boss Into Tinubu Re-election Book Launch

With debate over President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms continuing ahead of the 2027 elections, a book launch backed by oil magnate Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, is set to bring political power and corporate influence together in Abuja.
The November 5 event will feature industrialists Aliko Dangote and Abdul Samad Rabiu as Chief Launcher and Co-Chief Launcher, respectively, for a publication promoting Tinubu’s continued presidency beyond 2027.
Organised by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Door-to-Door Movement, the event will hold at the Bola Ahmed International Conference Centre, Abuja, with attendance strictly by invitation.

The book, titled The Courage to Reform: Architecture of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Beyond 2027, Statecraft, Vision for National Renewal, is designed to present the President’s governing philosophy, economic policies and vision for national development.
Dangote, president of Dangote Group, and Rabiu, chairman of BUA Cement, are among the country’s most prominent industrialists. Their roles place two major business figures at the centre of an event intended to promote Tinubu’s political and economic agenda.
Tinubu is expected to attend as Special Guest of Honour, while APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda will chair the occasion. Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike is listed as host, with Tompolo serving as Chief Host and financier of the event.

The gathering is also expected to draw Senate President Godswill Akpabio, House of Representatives Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, ministers and members of the APC leadership.
Other political figures listed include Senator Abdulaziz Yari, Ibrahim Kabiru Masari and James Abiodun Faleke, alongside governors and representatives of the ruling party.
The Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III, and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, are also expected, alongside representatives of the diplomatic corps, religious organisations and youth groups.
Beyond the ceremonial launch, the event highlights how Tinubu’s supporters are using publications, political networks and prominent business figures to frame the argument for policy continuity beyond 2027.
However, the organisers’ presentation of the administration’s reforms will unfold against continuing public debate over inflation, fuel costs, purchasing power, employment and living standards.
Whether the book’s case for continuity resonates beyond the invited audience will depend in part on how Nigerians assess the administration’s record and the practical effects of its policies on their lives.
