Owerri Reps Aspirant Rolls Out Development-Focused Agenda

An aspirant for the Owerri Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Chijioke Onyeneke, has outlined a wide-ranging development blueprint anchored on job creation, infrastructure renewal, and youth empowerment ahead of the 2027 elections.
Popularly known by his campaign slogan “Ceejay Is Okay,” Onyeneke said his ambition is driven by the need to restore accountable, people-centred representation that delivers tangible results to constituents.
Speaking after obtaining his nomination form in Abuja, he pledged to advance legislative initiatives that would directly improve the living standards of youths, women, traders, professionals, and the elderly across Owerri Federal Constituency.
A central pillar of his agenda is job creation, with emphasis on supporting small and medium-scale enterprises, expanding access to digital skills, strengthening vocational training, and building strategic partnerships to drive youth economic inclusion.
He also promised to attract federal interventions to address pressing infrastructure challenges in the constituency, including road rehabilitation, improved power supply, better healthcare facilities, stronger educational systems, and modern skills acquisition centres.
According to him, effective representation must translate into measurable development outcomes rather than political promises.
“As your representative, I will stand firmly for transparency, justice and the protection of the rights and interests of Ndi Owerri,” he said.
Onyeneke further proposed regular constituency engagement forums to ensure continuous dialogue between residents and their representative at the National Assembly.
He added that his legislative focus would include scholarships, educational support schemes, empowerment grants, and healthcare assistance for vulnerable groups.
Reaffirming his commitment to grassroots transformation, the aspirant said the “Ceejay Is Okay” movement represents a vision of accountable leadership, inclusiveness, and sustainable development for Owerri Federal Constituency.
