The Fix PDP Fix Nigeria Group has congratulated Professor Monye, former Special Adviser to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on Policy and Project Monitoring, describing him as a symbol of commitment, competence, and resilience within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The group noted that Prof. Monye’s long-standing contributions to governance and party development reflect the type of leadership required to reposition the PDP for future electoral success.
In a statement issued by the Chairman of the Fix PDP Fix Nigeria Group, Mr. Efosa Edwards, from Edo State, the group praised Prof. Monye for his unwavering dedication to national development and party cohesion, stressing that his experience and institutional knowledge remain invaluable at a critical moment in the party’s history. According to the group, leaders with proven records of service and loyalty are essential to rebuilding trust among party members and the electorate.

The group urged Prof. Monye to remain steadfast in his efforts to help reclaim the PDP’s mandate at both the state and national levels, noting that his vision, strategic insight, and inclusive approach can help galvanize party supporters and restore confidence in the PDP as a credible alternative in Nigeria’s political landscape. It added that the party’s resurgence depends on purposeful leadership and collective responsibility across all levels.
Beyond its commendation of Prof. Monye, the Fix PDP Fix Nigeria Group also applauded the newly constituted National Working Committee (NWC) under the leadership of Kabiru Turaki for its prompt and decisive intervention in the issues affecting the Delta State chapter of the party. The group described the response as timely and reassuring, signaling a new direction anchored on fairness, internal democracy, and respect for party structures.
The group observed that the proactive posture of the new NWC reflects a renewed determination to address internal challenges transparently and strengthen unity within the PDP nationwide. It emphasized that such leadership is vital to preventing internal conflicts and fostering cohesion ahead of future political contests.
The Fix PDP Fix Nigeria Group therefore called on the NWC to sustain this momentum, remain responsive to party stakeholders, and continue to prioritize unity, stability, and organizational discipline. The group expressed confidence that with consistent leadership and shared commitment, the PDP will emerge stronger, more united, and better positioned to reclaim its place as a dominant force in Nigerian politics.
