The Federal Government has unveiled the D30 Platform, a digital intelligence hub designed to attract investment into Nigeria’s creative and tourism economy.
The Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy developed the platform in partnership with Cavista Holdings.
The platform will help investors, businesses and state governments identify creative clusters, tourism assets, infrastructure gaps and viable investment opportunities.
How the D30 Platform works
Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, said the platform addresses the sector’s longstanding shortage of reliable and comprehensive data.
She said the information would help investors assess opportunities and identify locations with the infrastructure needed to support their businesses.
“D30 is not intended to be another government database that simply accumulates information,” Musawa said.
“Its purpose is to support decisions that help businesses expand, guide investors and enable government to deploy resources more effectively.”
She added that state governments could use the platform to assess tourism development needs, while creative entrepreneurs could access market intelligence to expand into new markets.
The ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. Abdulkarim Ozi Ibrahim, described the launch as an important milestone in efforts to unlock the economic potential of Nigeria’s creative and tourism industries.
He said the platform would strengthen evidence-based planning and policymaking.
According to him, investors would gain better visibility into emerging opportunities, industry clusters and areas requiring investment.
He added that entrepreneurs could use the information to improve competitiveness, expand their businesses and make better commercial decisions.

The Statistician-General of the Federation and Chief Executive Officer of the National Bureau of Statistics, Prince Adeyemi Adeniran, was represented by his Technical Assistant, Moses Waniko.
Waniko pledged the bureau’s collaboration with the ministry to improve data collection and harmonise statistical methods.
He said the platform’s effectiveness would depend on the quality, consistency, reliability and comparability of its data.
He also reaffirmed the NBS’s commitment to national and international statistical standards.
Executive Director and Vice President, Government and External Affairs at Cavista Holdings, Olumide Olayomi said reliable data was essential to expanding the sector.
He said the platform would help public and private sector stakeholders identify investment opportunities, address infrastructure gaps and drive growth.
“Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage, diverse tourism destinations and vibrant creative community offer enormous potential for jobs and wealth creation, but the sector cannot scale without reliable intelligence to track opportunities, assess needs and measure progress,” Olayomi said.
He reaffirmed Cavista’s support for the ministry’s target of generating $100 billion and creating three million jobs by 2030.
Olayomi stressed that sustained public-private partnerships would be critical to achieving the goals.
The Special Adviser to the President on Partnerships and Innovation, Imran Garba Duba, described the launch as the beginning of wider opportunities for Nigeria.
“D30 will open doors for Nigeria in ways we cannot fathom. Nigeria has so much to show and so much data and we need to work together,” he said.
The Federal Government is targeting a $100 billion economic contribution and three million jobs from the creative and tourism economy by 2030.
The targets form part of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The ministry expects the D30 Platform to provide the investment intelligence needed to support these ambitions.
However, its impact will depend on data quality, adoption by investors and businesses, and the conversion of identified opportunities into actual investments and jobs.
