Akpabio Felicitates with Muslims, Urges Prayers for Unity, Eid-el-Fitr

President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, GCON, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, urging them to pray and work for the unity of the nation.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, Akpabio emphasized the importance of sustaining the values of Ramadan beyond the fasting period.

“As you celebrate the end of Ramadan and mark this joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, I extend my heartfelt congratulations on behalf of my family, constituents, the 10th Senate, and the entire National Assembly. May this celebration bring you peace, happiness, and spiritual renewal. May the blessings of Allah be upon you and your loved ones.”

He urged Nigerians to embrace the core values of Ramadan—compassion, kindness, and generosity—while fostering national unity.

“Let us carry forward the lessons of Ramadan in our daily lives and remain committed to the peace and progress of our great nation.”

Akpabio concluded by wishing all Muslims a joyful celebration.

“Once again, I wish you all a happy and blessed Eid-el-Fitr.”
