Speaking with journalists, the Vice President described the late patriarch as “a man of deep faith and remarkable humility” whose legacy of discipline, truthfulness, and compassion is reflected in the leadership qualities of his son, Governor Ododo.

“His life of service to God and humanity continues to inspire those who knew him. The family should take solace in the fact that he lived a fulfilled life and left enduring legacies,” Shettima said.

In his response, Governor Ododo thanked the Vice President for making the condolence visit despite his demanding schedule, saying the gesture demonstrated not only solidarity with his family but also a reaffirmation of the values of unity and compassion in leadership.
