The University of Ilorin has turned the spotlight on some of its most accomplished alumni and friends of the institution, recognising their outstanding contributions to public service, education and the advancement of the university.
The ceremony, chaired by the Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), Arc. Sonny Echono, PhD, FNIA, OON, was more than an award presentation. It was a celebration of the people whose achievements have continued to strengthen the reputation and legacy of the university.
Among the distinguished honourees was Sir Olusegun Adekunle, OON, former Permanent Secretary, General Services Office, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (PS-GSO), who was recognised for his contributions and service.
