Apprehension has gripped residents of Maitama District in the Federal Capital Territory as gunmen allegedly killed a staff of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Khalid Bichi in the area on Friday.
Every indication points to the believe that the gunmen may have been hired assassin that trailed and killed Buichi in Maitama area of Abuja.
Nigeria Newsbite finding indicated that that Khalid Bichi was shot at multiple times by his assaillants on Friday night at about 9:00pm when he stepped out to get some food.
The late Khalid who was rushed to the General Hospital, Maitama was confirmed ‘brought in dead’ (BiD).
The late Khalid it was gathered was popular on the social media with the username @Khalid Bichi, had connections with some influential politicians in the country.
The FCT Police command is yet to issue a statement on the unfortunate incident
