Tinubu, CJN, Akpabio Lead Roll Call of Dignitaries for Ukala’s Landmark Book Launch

Nigeria’s power circle—spanning the presidency, judiciary, legislature and traditional institutions—will gather in Abuja on April 29 for the unveiling of a major legal work by Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief Emmanuel Ukala.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Justice of Nigeria Kudirat Kekere-Ekun and Senate President Godswill Akpabio headline the list of expected guests at the high-profile event.
The book, “Ukala’s Manual on Appellate Practice for Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Nigeria,” will be presented at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, in what insiders describe as a defining moment for Nigeria’s legal community.
Sources close to the organising committee say the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, will lead a distinguished delegation of political heavyweights and public office holders to the ceremony.
Also expected is the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Afam Osigwe, alongside top-ranking lawyers, senior advocates, and jurists from across the country.
The Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, the President of the Court of Appeal, as well as Chief Judges of the Federal High Court and the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, are also billed to attend.
Beyond the legal elite, the event is expected to draw governors, lawmakers, captains of industry, traditional rulers and policy influencers—underscoring the national significance of the publication.
Published by Bar and Bench Press Limited, the book is already being positioned as a definitive guide for appellate practice in Nigeria, offering practical insights into procedures at the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.
With final preparations in place, the unveiling is shaping up to be more than a ceremonial gathering—it is poised to become a convergence of influence, intellect and institutional power in celebration of a major contribution to Nigeria’s legal system.
