Sana Africa urges Africans to make wellness a lifestyle for healthy living

SANA AFRICA, a Wellness and Beauty digital platform, has called on Africans to make wellness a lifestyle and self-care part of their everyday lives rather than seeing it as luxury.
Oluwatosin Samuel, Co-founder and Chief Growth Officer (CGO) of Sana Africa made the call in Abuja at the official launch of the platform to redefine beauty, Spa, and wellness access across Africa.
She said that the launch of Sana Africa marks a major step forward in the region’s evolving wellness industry, promoting a culture where relaxation, care, and confidence are accessible to everyone for healthy and productive living.
Ms Samuel hinted that Sana Africa, a first-of-its-kind digital platform, was launched with a mission to transform how people discover and enjoy beauty, spa, and wellness experiences across Africa.
She revealed that the concept is to offer a platform where users are connected with top-rated spas, salons, and wellness centers, offering exclusive discount deals on premium services ranging from massages and facials to body treatments, hair care, and more.
More than just a marketplace, Oluwatosin Samuel pointed out that Sana African has at its core, a wellness movement that bridges the gap between beauty professionals and self-care lovers, ensuring that wellness becomes a consistent part of daily living.
“We want people to experience self-care as part of their everyday lives, while also helping beauty and wellness businesses grow through visibility and customer connection.
“Whether it’s finding the perfect weekend escape or discovering a hidden gem nearby, Sana Africa makes wellness more accessible, affordable, and luxurious”, she said.
Speaking on the evolution of Sana Africa during the launch, Elsie Ayuk, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the organization said, “We realized that self-care shouldn’t be a privilege; it should be a way of life.
“Sana Africa is here to make it easy for anyone, no matter their schedule or budget, to experience luxury and relaxation without the stress of searching or overspending
“The goal is to simplify self-care, making wellness an achievable routine rather than an occasional indulgence.”
She said that the platform does not cater for users alone but also indulge vendors as growth partners to enable Spas and wellness businesses to reach a wider audience, list their services, run promotions, and manage bookings seamlessly, all in one place.
Olamide Odedeji, Brand and Marketing Lead, explained that Sana Africa’s mission was two-fold: first, to help people experience calm, beauty, and renewal every day.
And secondly, to empower spa owners and beauty professionals to reach more customers effortlessly.
Damilola Daramola, Chief Technology Officer of the organization, stressed that Sana Africa provides vendors with visibility, digital tools, and consistent engagement that helps them grow their businesses sustainably
The platform, he said, currently features some of the top luxury spas in Abuja and Lagos, including Goldcat Spa, Body Signal, Nisa Wellness, and Dara Naturals, each offering exciting discount deals exclusively on the platform.
“With its user-friendly interface and growing vendor network, Sana Africa is positioning itself as Africa’s premier wellness marketplace where relaxation meets opportunity, and everyone can experience luxury without limits”, Daramola added. (Ends)
