Speaking at the presentation, Magaji said the donation reflected the state government’s commitment to supporting security agencies in tackling drug-related offences and their impact on society.

He assured the government that the items would be used judiciously to achieve their intended purpose.

The NDLEA commander also called on residents, traditional and community leaders, and other stakeholders to support the agency’s efforts, emphasising that the fight against drug abuse and illicit trafficking required collective action.

The donation underscores the Kano State Government’s drive to improve inter-agency collaboration and strengthen the operational capacity of the NDLEA in its efforts to curb drug-related offences.

The initiative is aimed at promoting public safety, reducing substance abuse and protecting the future of young people in the state.
