Halima Zakari spreads Eid joy, strengthens grassroots support in Jigawa

Supporters of Ambassador Dr. Halima Suleiman Zakari across the Jigawa Central Senatorial Zone have lauded her generosity and grassroots commitment following the distribution of food items and financial support to mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The intervention, which reached state executives, coordinators from the seven local government areas, and representatives of the eight constituencies within the zone, included the distribution of 50kg bags of rice, cash gifts for Sallah preparations, and financial assistance for the purchase of rams.
Beneficiaries described the gesture as a reflection of Ambassador Halima Zakari’s enduring commitment to the welfare of ordinary people, noting that her support came at a crucial period for many families preparing for the festive season.
The Grassroots Mobilization for Ambassador Dr. Halima Suleiman Zakari also benefited from the exercise, receiving allocations from two trailers of rice earmarked for the Eid celebration.
Speaking during the festivities in Jigawa State, the National Board of Trustees Chairman of Youth and Civil Society Advocacy for Development (YOCSAD), Elder Ayo Thomas, and the Board Secretary, Comrade Aruwa Ismail, praised Ambassador Halima Zakari’s leadership qualities, describing her as a compassionate leader whose humanitarian interventions continue to impact lives across communities.
They noted that her dedication to grassroots development and social welfare has earned her widespread admiration and strengthened confidence in her leadership among supporters.
Similarly, the National President of the Movement, Comrade Aminu Aminu, and the Jigawa State Coordinator, Comrade Abdulrashid Ali Zareku, expressed gratitude for what they described as her consistent support for members and vulnerable groups across the state.
They reaffirmed their commitment to her vision and urged members to remain united in advancing the objectives of the movement.
Several beneficiaries who received the Eid packages called on Ambassador Halima Zakari to sustain her humanitarian programmes, saying the intervention had brought relief to numerous households during the festive period.
They also offered prayers for Allah’s continued blessings upon her, while reaffirming their confidence in her leadership and expressing readiness to support her future political aspirations.
The Eid-el-Kabir outreach forms part of Ambassador Halima Zakari’s broader commitment to strengthening community bonds, promoting social welfare, and deepening grassroots development initiatives across Jigawa State.
