Grief Fuels Purpose: NBN Reaffirms Al-Mustapha’s 2027 Bid During Kogi Visit
The Network for Better Nigeria (NBN) has turned a moment of mourning into a rallying point for national renewal, reaffirming its full support for Major Dr. Hamza Al-Mustapha amid the loss of his sister.
During a solemn condolence visit to the Kogi State Chapter, National Coordinator Hon. Umar Lawal led members in prayer and reflection. But beyond sympathy, the visit sparked a renewed commitment to the group’s mission—securing Nigeria’s future under Al-Mustapha’s leadership.
“We mourn with him, but we also move with him,” Hon. Lawal said. “His pain deepens our purpose. His strength reminds us why he’s the leader Nigeria needs.”
The visit also marked the beginning of Lawal’s nationwide tour to strengthen NBN’s state structures and mobilize grassroots momentum ahead of the 2027 elections.
Lawal underscored that the upcoming polls must not be another cycle of empty promises, but a turning point for credible, people-focused leadership. He described Al-Mustapha as a tested figure, capable of confronting Nigeria’s toughest challenges—from insecurity to unemployment.
“This movement isn’t just political—it’s moral. We are choosing competence over noise, unity over division, and leadership over theatrics,” Lawal told the Kogi executive team.
The group pledged to deepen its presence in every state, ward, and community, anchoring its message on justice, service, and hope.
“2027 begins now. Let this grief bind us. Let this cause elevate us. And let Nigeria rise with us,” Lawal concluded.
With compassion in their hearts and conviction in their steps, NBN members left Kogi more determined than ever to deliver the leadership Nigeria truly deserves.
