The Fix PDP, Fix Nigeria Group has declared that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) remains the only true national political party in Nigeria—one with the depth, structure, and democratic legacy to unify the country and offer purposeful leadership.
In a statement signed by Abubakar Muktar of Katsina State, the group insisted that, unlike other parties shaped by revenge or desperation, the PDP was never built around personalities or regional interests.
“The APC and ADC were products of anger and ambition, not ideology or patriotism. They lack the cohesion and legacy that PDP represents,” Muktar said.
As the 2027 elections draw closer, the group noted that the PDP is undergoing internal reforms and will emerge stronger, with zoning as a key principle.
“We believe in fairness and national balance, and the presidency must return to the South,” the statement read.
Fix PDP urged Nigerian youth to stay vigilant and avoid being misled by propaganda.
“The PDP is not perfect, but it is the only party with a national soul. It must be rebuilt by the people—for the people,” the group concluded.
