Pastor Chris Takes Healing Prayers Global as Worshippers Share Testimonies

From a man in Senegal who said he passed two kidney stones to a Kenyan woman who reported regaining her mobility, personal accounts of healing took centre stage as Pastor Chris Oyakhilome opened the final edition of the 2026 Healing Streams Live Healing Services.
The three-day programme, which began on Friday, October 23, drew participants from different countries for worship, biblical teaching, prayers and testimonies, with the cleric extending his ministration beyond those physically present to a worldwide audience.
The opening day combined accounts of reported physical recovery with a message urging participants to hold firmly to their faith, even when confronted with difficult circumstances.
Organisers described the event as a gathering of hundreds of millions of people, although the attendance figure could not be independently verified.
At the heart of the service was Pastor Chris’s insistence that faith must translate into action, a message he reinforced with biblical accounts of healing and restoration.
“You are right now in the presence of destiny,” he told participants, describing the gathering as a special moment and urging them to make a conscious decision to believe.
Drawing from the account of Jairus’s daughter in the Gospel of Luke, Pastor Chris highlighted Jesus’s instruction to reject fear and continue believing even after receiving news of the girl’s death.
“Don’t struggle. Only believe,” he said.
He also urged participants to place their confidence in God’s Word rather than be discouraged by their physical conditions.
“The Word of God is truth. It is reality. It doesn’t matter what the symptoms are telling you. Believe the Word, not the symptoms,” he declared.
The message preceded the healing ministration, during which participants came before the cleric for prayers while others joined remotely through the broadcast.
The service was marked by scenes of celebration as some participants reportedly stood from wheelchairs, put aside crutches and expressed joy over changes they said they experienced.
The ministry also projected images of people connecting from different countries as Pastor Chris prayed for the global audience, extending the programme’s reach beyond the physical venue.
Among the accounts shared was that of Travail from Senegal, who said he had endured nine days of severe pain after doctors identified two kidney stones.
According to his testimony, one of the stones measured nearly seven millimetres, prompting doctors to recommend surgery.
Travail said he was watching the programme when he heard another testimony involving kidney stones. Shortly afterwards, he felt the urge to urinate and reported passing both stones.
“I’m free, Glory to God,” he said.
In Kenya, Veronica recounted two years of severe leg weakness that had made walking difficult and eventually forced her to stop working.
She said her strength returned during the service, enabling her to stand and move more freely. She also reported an improvement in a back condition that had caused her to walk in a bent position.
Another Kenyan participant, Doreen, shared her experience after struggling with eyesight problems and depression for two years.
She said the programme gave her a more hopeful outlook, adding that she experienced emotional relief and an improvement in her eyesight.
Her account also drew attention to the emotional distress she said she had endured before the service.
In Bangalore, India, Laveen reported experiencing relief from bodily heaviness and widespread soreness while watching the broadcast.
Meanwhile, nine-year-old Patrick in the Solomon Islands reportedly found relief after weeks of fever and distress, with his family saying he was able to sleep after the improvement.
The accounts were presented during the testimony segment hosted by Evangelist Eddy Owase, a senior minister of the Healing School and host of Real Miracles Today.
The reported experiences were shared by participants during the religious programme and were not independently medically verified.
Earlier, Pastor Deola Phillips, executive minister of the Healing School and convener of the event, had encouraged participants to approach the gathering with faith and expectation.
“This is your moment of change,” she told the audience, urging them to pay attention to the teachings and believe for the changes they desired.
Other ministers, including Rev. Tom Amenkhienan, Pastor John De Beer and Rev. Ray, also addressed participants, recalling testimonies from previous editions and encouraging the audience to prepare for the programme.
The opening day ended with further prayers and an invitation for participants to commit their lives to Jesus Christ.
Pastor Chris declared that every condition would be “reversed to perfection”, reinforcing the message of faith that had shaped the day’s proceedings.
The October 23–25 gathering is the 18th edition of the Healing Streams Live Healing Services and the final edition scheduled for 2026.
The programme continues through Sunday, October 25, with participants able to follow the broadcast through Healing Streams TV and the LoveWorld Network.
Organisers have invited audiences worldwide to join the remaining sessions for further teaching, prayers and testimonies.
