The Special Adviser to the President on Senate Matters, Senator Basheer Lado, CON, has expressed deep sadness over the death of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represented the Anambra South Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
In a statement issued following the Senate’s valedictory session held in honor of the late senator, Senator Lado described him as a passionate grassroots politician whose unwavering dedication, honesty, and straightforward nature earned him immense respect from his colleagues and the people he served.m Shettima
“Senator Ifeanyi Ubah was not just a legislator; he was a committed public servant whose tireless efforts towards the advancement of his constituency and the nation will be remembered,” Senator Lado said.

On behalf of his family and office, Senator Lado extended heartfelt condolences to Senator Ubah’s family, constituents, the entire Senate community, and the Nigerian people. He also prayed for the peaceful repose of the late senator’s soul.
