Udoneria Tragedy: Omofoma Mourns Victims, Vows to Prioritize Security
As grief hangs heavy over Udoneria community in Igueben Local Government Area, Engr. (Sir) Osereme Christen Omofoma has joined voices of solidarity, mourning the victims of the recent tragedy and assuring the people of Edo Central of his unwavering support.
In a heartfelt statement, Omofoma extended his condolences to the families affected by the incident, describing the loss as “painful and deeply unsettling.”
“No community should be made to live in fear or mourn loved ones in such circumstances,” Omofoma said, adding that security and peace must become non-negotiable priorities for leaders at all levels.
He pledged that, if elected senator, securing lives and property would top his legislative and developmental agenda. “It is the living who can dream, build, and prosper,” he emphasized.

Calling for unity and resilience, he urged residents of Udoneria and the broader Edo Central community to look ahead with hope. “Together, we can build a future where safety is guaranteed, and prosperity is shared by all,” he said.
