Tinubu, Sani, Ribadu mourn El-Rufai’s mother, describe loss as deeply painful

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the death of the mother of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, describing the loss as profoundly painful and irreplaceable.
In a condolence message issued through his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President said the late matriarch lived a fulfilled and impactful life, raising children and grandchildren who have contributed meaningfully to national development.
Tinubu noted that the passing of a mother is a deeply emotional experience, adding that he empathised with El-Rufai and his family, having also experienced a similar loss.
He urged the bereaved family to take solace in the legacy left behind by the deceased, stating that her values and guidance would continue to serve as a source of strength and comfort.
The President further expressed that, as people of faith, there is reassurance in the belief that the deceased fulfilled her purpose on earth and has returned to her Creator. He prayed for the repose of her soul and asked Allah to grant her Aljannah Firdaus.
Also extending condolences were Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, and National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, who joined in mourning the late matriarch and offering support to the family during this period of grief.
