From the moment guests stepped into the ballroom, the air was thick with glamour and anticipation. The Yellow Ball, now a benchmark for excellence and leadership recognition in Nigeria, once again lived up to its billing—spotlighting individuals whose work continues to shape society, policy, enterprise, and culture.
Her Excellency Dame Patience Jonathan, Nigeria’s former First Lady, led the list of honourees, joined by the Governor of Taraba State, Chief Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo (Iyaloja-General), and Hon. Mrs. Regina Akume (JP)—wife of the SGF.
Also honoured were Hon. Minister Imaan Suleiman-Ibrahim (Women Affairs), Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (Interior), Senator Osita Ngwu, Dr. Rose Oriaran of INEC, Hon. Silas Agara, and Hon. Baffa Dan Agundi, among others.
In the sphere of business and community development, stars shone brightly: Dr. Queen Dillion of WEMA Bank (Regal Trailblazer Award), Olagoke Fagbohun of Kaito Hoff Real Estate, Dr. Linus Okorie of GOTNI, Christopher Oputa of Studio 24, and Princess Gloria Akubundu, ex-NEPAD CEO, all received top honors.

In a surprise moment that rippled across the ballroom, Dame Jonathan voiced her endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, sparking a chorus of applause and spirited conversations among guests.
Entertainment flowed seamlessly with crowd-favorite acts including Klint da Drunk, Ambassador Wahala, Yamo, and Chirose, who lit up the evening with laughter and charisma.
Notable guests included Engr. Jennifer Adighije (NDPHC), Dr. Hauwa D.D. Suntai, and Mr. Osita Okechukwu, former DG of Voice of Nigeria.
At the heart of the celebration was Ms. Doofan Chizaram Tor, MD/CEO of Accolade Dynamics Ltd, whose vision has transformed the Yellow Ball into a prestigious celebration of purpose and legacy. “This is about spotlighting men and women who light the path of transformation through leadership, mentorship, and innovation,” she shared.
The daughter of Hon. Dr. Ginika Tor, Federal Commissioner and President of Igbo-Kwenu for Asiwaju, Ms. Tor underscored her unwavering commitment to celebrating excellence that inspires a better Africa.
With glowing reviews from the media and dignitaries alike, Yellow Ball 2025 closed on a high note, affirming its place as a crown jewel in Nigeria’s calendar of elite recognition events.
“Congratulations to all honourees—your legacies of impact are only just beginning,” Ms. Tor concluded.
