New Wave of Abuja Youth Leaders Sparked by YATLI Mindset Revolution
In a dynamic push to build a new generation of purpose-driven citizens, Youth Awakening Towards Leadership Initiatives (YATLI) held a transformative Mastermind Workshop in Abuja that left participants inspired, equipped, and ready to lead.
Far more than just a talk shop, the event became a launchpad for mental reengineering, leadership incubation, and strategic networking among young changemakers.
Held at Frankville Hotel, Karu, the free event brought together a diverse mix of entrepreneurs, professionals, creatives, and youth leaders hungry for progress.
With a strong theme of “Growth from Within”, the workshop was an immersive experience in personal development and systems thinking—guided by three powerhouse speakers who challenged participants to think deeper, act smarter, and lead bolder.
Coach Sam Obafemi (a.k.a. Octopus) opened the day with a brain-altering session on emotional intelligence. Through his “Eight-Armed Octopus Framework”, he showed attendees how mastering emotional resilience can become the cornerstone of leadership. Participants learned to decode self-sabotaging habits and swap them for empowering mental blueprints.
Araga Dominic, a well-regarded growth strategist, turned the spotlight on business innovatio)n and mental clarity. His “4-Step Strategic Sprint” became a live lab experiment, as participants teamed up to tackle real-life business challenges, designing actionable solutions rooted in strategic foresight and execution discipline.
Closing the day, Alexis Bekes (the Silent Provoker) reminded everyone that sustainable growth begins with simplicity. Her segment demystified personal development with accessible tools—from daily rituals to personal accountability systems—proving that big transformation starts with small, consistent shifts in thinking.
The event wasn’t just about listening; it was about doing. Each session included Q&A segments, group discussions, and interactive exercises like mind mapping and growth journaling.
Delegates didn’t just leave with ideas—they walked away with custom action plans, accountability partners, and free coaching resources to continue their transformation journeys.
With free breakfast, lunch, and branded writing kits, the YATLI Mastermind Workshop also reflected a culture of care, attention to detail, and community spirit.
This workshop marked more than just a one-day event—it signaled the rise of a youth-led movement that believes change begins with the right mindset. As YATLI continues to champion grassroots leadership development, Abuja—and indeed Nigeria—may soon witness a wave of young leaders unafraid to dream, build, and disrupt for the better.
