Kogi Poly Rector hails Fmr Gov. Yahaya Bello at 50
***Praises his Bridge-building, barrier-breaking leadership strategies

RECTOR of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Prof. (Chief) Salisu Ogbo Usman, has has congratulated former Governor Yahaya Bello on his 50th birthday, describing him as a bridge-builder and pathfinder of the New Direction Administration in Kogi State.
Prof. Usman, in the congratulatory message he personally signed, and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Lokoja praised Bello’s leadership style, citing his zeal, boldness, and progressive approach.
He noted that the former Governor’s administration uplifted youths, women, and people living with disabilities.
Prof. Usman noted that Bello’s selfless leadership has been a source of strength and inspiration, highlighting his historic and barrier-breaking strategies that have left a lasting impact on the state.
The Rector expressed pride in Bello’s remarkable footprints and legacies in Kogi State, particularly his ability to build bridges and bring people together.
He said, “Your selfless leadership styles, through which you offered a generous shoulder for us all to lean on, have become a source of strength, inspiration and a shining example for many of us.
“Your Excellency, as one of your most inspired devotees, I have always admired and cherished your zeal, boldness, doggedness, audacity and progressive leadership disposition which have uplifted the youth, women and people living with disability to a whole new status.
“Your selfless leadership styles, through which you offered a generous shoulder for us all to lean on, have become a source of strength, inspiration and a shining example for many of us.
“Worthy of note is your historic and barrier-breaking leadership strategies that have unsettled the transducers and naysayers.
“However, the allergy of some people to honey does not negate the fact that it is naturally sweet. In the words of Robert Greene, “Deeds Do Not Lie”.
“I am proud of your remarkable footprints and legacies in Kogi State, particularly as a Bridge-builder”, he stated.
Prof. Usman prayed for Bello’s sound health, greater heights, and immeasurable wisdom in the years ahead, joining his numerous well-wishers in celebrating this “Golden Jubilee” milestone. (Ends)
