Kaduna Gov Uba Sani Calls for Sacrifice, Compassion in Eid-el-Kabir Message

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has used the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir to call for a renewed commitment to sacrifice, compassion, and unwavering submission to the will of Almighty Allah.

In a message posted on his official Facebook page on Friday, Governor Sani reminded Muslims across the state and the country that the essence of the celebration lies not in festivities, but in living out the virtues of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

“This season is a sacred call to obedience, selflessness, and unity,” he wrote. “We must reflect deeply and strive to embody these values daily, not just during Sallah.”

The governor noted that Kaduna State is experiencing steady progress in peace and development, which he credited to the grace of God and the collective resilience of the people. He urged citizens to remain prayerful and committed to building a just and prosperous society.

Governor Sani also appealed to the wealthy to extend hands of kindness to the less privileged, encouraging a spirit of generosity that reflects the true meaning of Eid.

“Let us make this a time for solidarity and service,” he said. “Share with your neighbors. Strengthen the bonds of community.”

He concluded his message with prayers for Nigeria’s leaders, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asking God to grant them wisdom to lead with fairness and compassion.

“May Eid-el-Kabir bring peace to our lives, progress to our state, and unity to our nation,” the governor said, wishing all travelers safe journeys and joyful reunions.
