Easter: Senator Natasha Rallies Nigerians Around Unity, Compassion for National Healing

Amid ongoing national challenges, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has issued a powerful Easter message urging Nigerians to embrace compassion, unity, and sacrificial love as essential tools for healing and rebuilding the nation.

Describing Easter as more than a religious observance, the Senator representing Kogi Central framed the season as a moral call to action—a time to draw inspiration from the resurrection of Jesus Christ and translate its message into everyday acts of kindness and national service.

“Easter reminds us of the triumph of light over darkness and love over hate,” she said. “In these trying times, we must draw strength from this message and recommit to values that uplift our communities—compassion, kindness, and unity.”

The message, released Friday through her Chief Press Secretary, Arogbonlo Israel, reflects the lawmaker’s consistent advocacy for people-centered leadership and inclusive development.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan also expressed hope that Easter would reignite peace and joy in homes across the country, inspiring citizens to work together in bridging divides and advancing national progress.

“Let this season renew our sense of purpose as a nation. Let it move us beyond divisions and into a shared commitment to love, justice, and peace.”

She extended heartfelt wishes to Christians nationwide, especially her constituents, for a joyful Easter filled with laughter, love, and cherished family moments.
