The Honourable Minister of Defence, H.E. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has been lauded by the Dutse Emirate Traders Association for his role in enhancing national security and creating a safer environment for commerce across Nigeria.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Personal Assitant to the minister on Media andPublicity, Mati Ali.
The statement indicated that the Association gave the commendation during a courtesy visit to the Minister’s residence in Kano on Friday, June 20, 2025.
Explaining further, the statement indicated that the delegation—led by Chairman of the Jigawa State Traders Association, Alhaji Yahaya Rungumau—commended the Minister’s commitment to peace and stability, which they said has positively impacted business activities across the country.
The visit took place as part of the Eid el-Kabeer celebrations.
