Defense Minister Leads Eid Prayers, Seeks Divine Blessings for Tinubu’s Administration

The Minister of Defense, Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, joined thousands of Muslim worshipers in Babura, Jigawa State, to offer special prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s good health, wisdom, and success in governance.

A statement signed by the minister’s Personal Assistant on Media and Publicity, Comrade Mati Ali, confirmed that the prayers took place at the Babura Central Eid ground following the Eid-el-Fitr congregational prayers led by the Chief Imam, Malam Salisu Salihu.

The minister arrived at the venue around 9:00 AM, participating in the prayers alongside community members, government officials, and religious leaders. The Chief Imam prayed for divine guidance for President Tinubu, peace and prosperity in Nigeria, and the well-being of all leaders and citizens.

Expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah for witnessing another Eid, the minister urged Nigerians to remain united, peaceful, and committed to national progress. He emphasized the need for fostering brotherhood and supporting the government’s efforts in ensuring security and prosperity.

The Eid celebration in Babura was marked with joy, as residents exchanged pleasantries, engaged in charitable acts, and reflected on the values of Ramadan.
