Former Jigawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Yakubu Abdullahi Ruba (SAN), has expressed optimism that the election of Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe as the new APC National Chairman will galvanize support for the party in Plateau State, the North Central region, and across the country.
In a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media Affairs, Aliyu Ibrahim, Ruba described Yilwatda, who is also the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, as an intellectual with brilliance, integrity, and a deep commitment to party unity and growth.
He noted that Yilwatda’s academic and political experience would be vital in repositioning the All Progressives Congress (APC) for greater acceptance and cohesion, particularly in Plateau State where he has a strong base.
“Let me use this opportunity to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe on his well-deserved election by the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the APC as the party’s new National Chairman,” Ruba stated.
He further described the new chairman as a visionary leader who is well-equipped to take the APC to greater heights.
