2027: New Pro-Tinubu Group Launches Grassroots Campaign for Re-Election Bid

A new political support movement, PBAT Grassroots Connect, has emerged with a mission to mobilise support across the country for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group, unveiled in Minna, said it would focus heavily on grassroots engagement and nationwide mobilisation in support of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Convener of the group, Hon. Tajudeen Salako, a former Chairman of Ikenne Local Government Area in Ogun State, said the initiative was born out of what he described as the growing need to consolidate public support for the administration despite prevailing economic challenges.
Salako, who currently serves as Senior Legislative Aide to the President of the Senate, argued that President Tinubu’s reforms are already producing results and urged Nigerians to remain patient with the administration.
According to him, Tinubu has demonstrated “courageous and visionary leadership” through policies aimed at economic restructuring, infrastructure renewal and improved national security.
He maintained that the administration has strengthened national unity, empowered vulnerable communities and created opportunities for young people across the country.
“President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda has transformed Nigeria through bold economic reforms, infrastructure revival and security advancements,” Salako stated.
He further claimed that the administration has recorded progress in stabilising the economy, reducing inflation and expanding youth empowerment programmes.
The group pledged to embark on aggressive nationwide mobilisation to rally support for Tinubu’s second-term ambition, insisting that continuity would guarantee sustained growth and prosperity for Nigeria.
“We pledge full mobilisation to secure his victory. We urge every citizen to unite behind President Tinubu for a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria,” Salako added.
The unveiling ceremony also featured the announcement of key national officers of the organisation, including Mrs. Wandoo Evelyn Tseayo as National Women Leader, Ikechukwu Grace as National Secretary, and Comrade Olawale Olumoroti as National Youth Leader.
