Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, has extended her heartfelt condolences to the Ona of Abaji, His Royal Majesty Dr. Adamu Baba Yunusa, on the passing of his wife, Hajiya Hadiza Adamu Baba.
In a message to the royal family and the people of Abaji, the Minister described the loss as deeply painful and irreplaceable, noting that Hajiya Hadiza would be remembered for her compassion, dignity, and unwavering support for the throne.

“On behalf of the Federal Capital Territory Administration and my family, I offer my deepest condolences to Your Royal Majesty, the royal household, and the entire Abaji community. The death of a wife is an immeasurable loss, and I can only imagine the grief you are enduring,” Mahmoud stated.
She prayed for the repose of the late queen: “May Almighty Allah grant her Aljannah Firdaus and bless Your Royal Majesty and the family with the strength to bear this painful loss.”
Dr. Mahmoud assured the royal family of her sympathy and support in this moment of mourning.
